Information Security Policy

Purpose

This Basic Information Security Policy aims to protect the information assets of our customers and the VICS Center from various threats and to ensure the stable continuation of business activities.

Basic Policy

The VICS Center will abide by the following Basic Policy.

• 1. Scope of information assets

  The information assets protected by the VICS Center are defined as all information obtained in the course of the VICS Center’s business activities and all information possessed for business-related purposes.

• 2. Management system

  The VICS Center regards information security as a critical business responsibility and will establish an information security management system as part of its management strategy in order to properly maintain and manage information assets.

• 3. Safety measures

  The VICS Center recognizes the importance of information assets and will implement security measures that provide proper protection from threats, such as unauthorized access, leakage, tampering, destruction, and loss. In the event that an incident occurs, we will conduct a prompt investigation of the cause and implement measures to prevent recurrence in order to minimize damage.

• 4. Legal compliance

  The VICS Center recognizes laws, regulations, other social norms, and contractual obligations pertaining to information security, and will ensure that its obligations related to information security are fulfilled.

• 5. Continuous improvement

  In order to ensure the effectiveness of our information security management system, maintain it, and continue implementing improvements, we will provide appropriate education and training to officers and employees.
